About Me
Welcome to Bob's Comics Art and Zines
Hi, I'm Bob Stevenson—a teacher from Connecticut with a lifelong passion for comic books spanning nearly five decades.

I read my first comic book in 1975, Fantastic Four #48, and I've been hooked ever since. After haunting the comic racks at the local pharmacy in Hebron, Connecticut for a few years, I attended my first comic show at a hotel in Niantic in 1982. I picked up Wolverine #1 with amazing Frank Miller artwork that day. My dad and I also became fascinated with a small stack of original comic book artwork at one table. We bought a page of artwork from Green Lantern by Joe Staton at that first convention. I've actively collected comic books and original artwork ever since. In the late 1990's I also became fascinated with comic book fanzines and have amassed a large collection of those, too.

Since 1999, I've been sharing my passion for comics by setting up at hundreds of shows throughout the northeastern United States, meeting thousands of collectors, artists, and fans, and making lots of friends in the hobby.
Bob's Comics Art and Zines will be a place I post pieces for sale from time to time.
Thanks for stopping by, and happy collecting!
